TEDxINTIIU 2016 - Director of Marketing & Campus Ambassador - March 2016
TEDx (Technology, Entertainment and Design; x = independently organized TED event) is a global set of conference that plans to motivate the community to see beyond the society, desire larger, aim greater and come up with better concepts. Provide as a system, which delivers up impressive & innovative thinkers onto the group. It also features as a university student run a thinking reservoir and concentrating on advancement. As a program of local, the event has organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. During the event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combined to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
I have been selected as the Director of Marketing & Local Campus Ambassador in TEDxINTIIU 2016 event at INTI International University Malaysia. Blessed to work together with other 8 Ambassadors, which in the end the event itself has been brought to success.
AC Nielsen - Analysis in Male Deodorants' Market in Malaysia - November 2016
Nielsen Holdings PLC is a leading global provider of information and insights into what consumers watch and buy. Nielsen hosted their annual National Inter-University Case competition where Student teams across nation will compete against one another to address a real-world business issue and present solutions for creating competitive advantage to panels of expert judges from Nielsen.
In 2016, me and my partner had to analyze on Male Deodorant Trends and current market in Malaysia. With primary & secondary research method, we recommend new product and marketing approaches. In this opportunity, my team were representing INTI International University and Indonesia to compete 60 teams from different universities across nation in Malaysia.
We were the top 6th team that advance to Grand Final of the competition.
Mass Communication Week 2016 - Public Relation Officer - November 2016
Mass Communication Week is an annual event that organized by Mass Communication Club at INTI International University Malaysia, with the objective of offering range of opportunities to understand and engage with experts discussing various trends & issues in Mass Media.
At this event, I had the task to invite speakers and deal with the media. I managed to invite few top-profile speakers such as Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir (Activist and Daugher of Former Prime Minister of Malaysia), Datuk Jake Abdullah (CEO of Astro Radio Malaysia), Prof Zaharom Nain (School of Modern Language & Culture, Centre for the study of Communications and Culture - University of Nottingham Malaysia), Mark O'Dea (Youtuber) and Dr Mark Finn (Academic Directors - Swinburne University of Technology).
PricewaterhouseCooper Trust Builders - Global Sweatshop Case Study - February 2017
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in conjunction with The Building Trust Awards, had organised a challenge called "PwC Trust Builders" across Malaysia with a total of 100+ teams who registered for the challenge. The objective of this challenge is to showcase Undergraduates' innovative skills by presenting a solutions on how to rebuild trust in business.
Worked together with a group of 3 students, we analyzed on the sweatshop situation globally and recommend few ethical recommendations to PricewaterhouseCooper Malaysia.
Lazada Express Sdn Bhd Malaysia - Employer Project Lead - February 2017
Lazada is Southeast Asia's number one online shopping and selling destination, with presence in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Lazada also has offices in Hong Kong, Korea, United Kingdom and Russia.
Pioneering eCommerce in the region, Lazada provides customers with an effortless shopping experience with mobile and web access, multiple payment methods including cash-on-delivery, extensive customer care and free returns, and retailers with simple and direct access to approximately 550 million consumers in six countries through one retail channel. Lazada features an extensive product offering in categories ranging from consumer electronics to household goods and fashion.
Led a group of 5 students, we recommended new logistic approaches & new location for its Logistic Centre around Peninsular Malaysia - which improved the efficiency and effectiveness of its logistics by 2%.
L'Oreal Brandstorm 2017 - L'Oreal Men Expert - March 2017
L'Oréal Brandstorm is an annual international innovation competition that organized by L'Oréal SA, aiming to offer students a pedagogical and professional experience & opportunities to innovate within beauty industry.
In 2017, we had to come out with new products that have never existed in L'Oreal Men Expert Portfolio. Worked tirelessly, our team consisted of 3 students, managed to go to National Semi-Final with our innovative product.
Evolyf Gastronomeal - Founder - Since December 2016
Evolyf is a Technology startup company that build by a group of ambitious students in Malaysia. Currently operating on a project named Gastronomeal - Food delivery project that run by student for student at Subang Jaya Area, Malaysia. We expect to launch a new project on Fall 2018.
Universities Business Challenge - University of Hertfordshire Business School - Since November 2017
The Universities Business Challenge is the UK's longest established and most recognised simulation-based competitive challenge for undergraduates designed to develop employability and enterprise skills. Supported by the UK's leading universities and graduate employers, more than 26,500 students have benefitted from participating in the UBC Worldwide over the past 19 years.
This year, I have the opportunity to work together with other 4 students from Italy, Kenya and England, representing Hertfordshire Business School to participate in UK's Business Challenge Competition.
